On June 22, Shanghai Municipal Bureau of market supervision and Administration issued the circular on the random inspection of the measurement supervision of products with (excessive) packaging, net content of quantitatively packaged goods, product quality of measuring instruments, energy efficiency and water efficiency labels in 2020. According to the circular, 15 kinds of commodities, such as cosmetics, liquor and pastry, were randomly selected for packaging. In terms of cosmetics, 70 batches of commodities produced by 28 enterprises were randomly selected, and 23 batches were found to be unqualified, with the unqualified discovery rate of 32.9%.
