1. Coty's third quarter fiscal 2021 revenue fell 5.5% year-on-year
Recently, Coty Group announced its third quarter financial report for the 2021 fiscal year. According to the report, Coty’s revenue this quarter fell by 3% and fell 5.5% year-on-year to RMB 6.6 billion, slightly lower than analysts’ expectations. However, the book operating loss narrowed to RMB 9 million, a significant improvement compared to the same period last year. So far, Coty’s net income for fiscal 2021 is RMB 23 billion, a 14.2% decrease from the same period in fiscal 2020.
2. ZARA launches a complete makeup line for the first time! Coming to China
Recently, the Spanish fast fashion giant ZARA announced that it will soon cooperate with the famous makeup artist Diane Kendal to release a series of its own and complete makeup line (ZARA Beauty) on May 12. By then, the cosmetics department will be juxtaposed with the ladies, children and other departments and become a brand new department alone.
