1. Yueshi Fengyin will close another 170 stores in China

Amori Pacific, a South Korean cosmetics group, announced on May 7 that it would close all its Innisfree stores in the North American market on May 8 and close about 170 Chinese stores in 2021, the Korea Times reported. In 2020, Yueshi Fengyin is one of the most dismal brands of Amori Pacific, with a year-on-year decrease in operating revenue of 37% to RMB 2 billion, less than half of RMB 4.4 billion at the peak of 2016.

Yueshi Fengyin officially entered the Chinese market in 2012. Since 2014, it has entered the second and third tier cities at the rate of opening 100 new stores every year, with more than 600 stores in China during the peak period. However, since the "sad incident" in 2017, the Korean wave has gradually declined in China, and the performance of yueshifengyin has also declined all the way.
