      In the beauty category, JD 618 pre-sales increased 112% year-on-year, and the number of users participating in beauty pre-sales doubled year-on-year. In the 24-hour pre-sale period, the order value of beauty products increased by 242% year-on-year. Xinchen capital acquires Japanese beauty personal care company Sedona

On June 1, TRUSTAR capital, a private equity firm controlled by CITIC Capital, announced that it had acquired 100% of Sedona Enterprise Co., Ltd.

The deal was completed through TRUSTAR's third Japanese acquisition fund. Launched in 2004, the fund is denominated in Japanese yen and invests in medium-sized enterprises in Japan's consumer goods, services and technology industries.

Sedona is affiliated to CI: Z holdings, the parent company of Dr. CI: labo. Sedona opened its business in Tokyo in 2010, operating a non-medical hair salon and launching a chain of hair salons, datsumo labo. So far, Sedona has more than 50 salons in Japan.

Less than two months ago, Xinchen capital's China fund, RMB, invested in beauty industry Omni channel service provider Yifei group in the third phase, and the amount was not disclosed.
