Knowledge of cosmetic packaging materials—tube functional requirements

1. Compression resistance: refer to the following two methods

After the hose is installed with about 9/10 of the maximum capacity of water, cover the matching cover (if there is an inner plug, the inner plug should be equipped), and put it into the vacuum dryer to vacuum up to -0.08MPa and keep it for 3 minutes without cracking or leakage.

Randomly sample 10 samples from each batch of materials; add the same weight or volume of water as the net content of each product to the sample tube, and place it horizontally; use the specified pressure to press the tube body vertically and statically for 1 minute, and the pressure head area ≥1/ 2The force-bearing area of the container.

2. Drop test: Load the contents of the specified capacity, close the lid, and fall freely to the concrete floor from a height of 120cm. There will be no cracks, tail bursts, leaks, no hoses, loose lids, and no loose lids.

3. Cold and heat resistance (compatibility test):

Pour the contents into the hose or immerse the test piece in the contents, and place it at 48℃ and -15℃ for 4 weeks. The hose or test piece and the contents are qualified if there is no change in the hose or test piece and the contents.

Test 1 batch in every 10 batches of materials; extract 3 caps for each mold cavity from a batch of materials, and match the tube with a total of 20 sets; add water with the same weight or volume as the net content in the tube; A number of samples are heated to 48±2°C in a constant temperature box and placed for 48 hours; 1/2 number of samples are cooled in the refrigerator to -5°C to -15°C and placed for 48 hours; the samples are taken out and returned to room temperature. external assessment. Eligibility criteria: No cracks, deformations (referring to changes in appearance that cannot be restored), discoloration of any part of the tube and cover, and no cracks or breaks in the tail of the hose.

4. Yellowing test: Put the hose under ultraviolet light for 24h or 1 week in the sun, and it is qualified if there is no obvious discoloration compared with the standard sample.

5. Compatibility test: Pour the content into the hose or soak the test piece in the content, and place it at 48°C and -15°C for 4 weeks. The hose or test piece and the contents are qualified if there is no change in the hose or test piece and the contents. .

6. Adhesion requirements:

Pressure-sensitive tape peeling method test: use 3M 810 tape to adhere to the test part, and after flattening (no bubbles allowed), forcefully and quickly tear off, there is no obvious adhesion of ink and hot stamping on the tape (required ink, hot stamping off area <total printed font area 5% of the surface) and a larger area of varnish (<10% of the total surface area) fall off as qualified.

Contents influence: Use a finger dipped in the content to rub back and forth 20 times, and the content does not change color and the ink does not fall off.

The bronzing shall not fall off with a diameter of more than 0.2mm, and shall not be broken or broken. The deviation of the bronzing position shall not exceed 0.5mm.

Silk screen, hose surface, bronzing: 1 batch for every 10 batches, 10 samples are randomly selected from each batch of materials, soaked in 70% alcohol for 30 minutes, the surface of the hose does not fall off, and the failure rate is ≤1/10.
