1. Bayer launches new skin care brand beirun

Bayer, a health consumer products company, launched a new skin care brand beirun. Beirun specializes in making skin care products with pharmaceutical experience. The products are made by La. C plant research technology of Switzerland. It has launched Jiazhou curing cream, hand foot cream and moisturizer, and the price is 192-416 yuan.

Brand finance, a British brand evaluation agency, released the "2021 list of the world's 50 most valuable cosmetics and personal care brands". L'Oreal, Gillette and Nivea continued to be the top three, while Chinese brands bramble and nature hall were on the list. However, affected by the epidemic, the total value of 50 brands decreased by 9% over the previous year to US $124.8 billion, while L'Oreal brand value dropped by 13% to US $10.222 billion.

3. Shiseido lost more than 90 million yuan in the first quarter

In the three months ended March 31, Shiseido's sales increased by 7.5% year-on-year to 14.4 billion yuan, its operating profit rose by 67.6% to 642 million yuan, and its net loss was 90 million yuan. Shiseido said the loss was mainly affected by impairment losses arising from the termination of the group's license agreement with Dolce & Gabbana.
