Vichy will arrange shampoo products in China market for the first time

On June 21, L'Oreal's brand Vichy released two new products, vizy probiotic essence bottle and vizy dercos anti dandruff and anti stripping series. This is the first time that Vichy has set up shampoo category in China. Previously, dercos series has 57 years of scalp care research history in the world. It is reported that there are 8 SKUs in the two series of this new product, which have been listed in Weizi Jingdong overseas flagship store, and will also be listed in Weizi tmall flagship store in the second half of this year.

The bill promotes supervision

Last week, the University of Notre Dame tested U.S. cosmetics from companies such as ulta beauty, Sephora, target and bed bath & beyond. More than half of the 231 cosmetics tested contained high concentrations of PFAS markers. On Friday, foreign media reported that U.S. legislators have proposed two new bills, including the prohibition of PFAS in Cosmetics Act and the amendment of FDA's personal care product safety law, so that it can have further regulatory power over the use of chemicals in cosmetics.

The no PFAS act will prohibit the intentional use of PFAS in cosmetics, while the personal care product safety act will require companies to submit their ingredients to the FDA, which will determine whether there are potential safety issues. If the bill succeeds, it will mean great changes in the beauty industry in the United States, and many enterprises are also redefining the safety standards of brand products.
