During the cosmetic OEM process, during the communication with customers, customers are not very familiar with the hose packaging materials of cosmetics, so the relevant knowledge is specially organized as follows:
Hose (facial cleanser, acne lotion, hand cream)
1. The hose is divided into single-layer, double-layer, and five-layer hoses, which are different in terms of pressure resistance, penetration resistance and hand feel. For example, the five-layer hose consists of an outer layer, an inner layer, two adhesive layers, and a barrier layer. Features: It has excellent gas barrier properties, which can effectively prevent the infiltration of oxygen and odorous gases, and prevent the leakage of the fragrance and effective ingredients of the contents.
2. Double-layer tubes are more commonly used. Single-layer tubes can also be used for medium and low-end products. The hose calibers are 13#-60#. When a hose of a certain caliber is selected, different lengths are used to indicate different capacity characteristics. The capacity can be adjusted from 3ml to 360ml. For the sake of aesthetics and coordination, 35# or less is often used for hoses below 60ml, 35#-45# for hoses below 100ml and 150ml, and 45# or more is required for hoses above 150ml.
3. In terms of technology, it is divided into round tubes, elliptical tubes, flat tubes, and super flat tubes. Flat tubes and super flat tubes are more complicated than other tubes in terms of technology. They are also new types of tubes released in recent years, so the price is relatively expensive.
4. Hose caps come in various shapes, generally divided into flat caps, round caps, high caps, flip caps, super flat caps, double-layer caps, spherical caps, lipstick caps, and plastic caps. They can also be processed in a variety of ways, such as gold-stamping edges, silver edges, colored caps, transparent caps, oil spraying, electroplating, etc. Pointed caps and lipstick caps are usually equipped with inner plugs. Hose caps are injection molded products, and hoses are drawn tubes. Most hose manufacturers do not produce hose caps themselves.
5. Some products need to be sealed after filling. The sealing tail can be roughly divided into: straight-line sealing tail, diagonal-line sealing tail, umbrella-shaped sealing tail, star-point sealing tail, and special-shaped sealing tail. When sealing the cosmetics OEM tail, you can ask to print the required date code on the tail.
6. The hose can be made into colored tubes, transparent tubes, colored or transparent frosted tubes, pearlescent tubes, and can be matte or glossy. Matte looks elegant but is easy to get dirty. The difference between colored tubes and tubes with large-area printing can be judged from the cut at the tail. The white cut is a large-area printing tube, and the ink used is required to be high, otherwise it is easy to fall off and will crack and reveal white marks after being folded.
7. The production cycle of hoses is generally 15-20 days (starting from the confirmation of the sample tube). The order quantity of a single product is 5,000-10,000. Few customers open molds by themselves. Most of them are public molds (a few special lids are private molds). The contract order quantity and the actual supply quantity have a deviation of ±10% in this industry.
8. Cosmetic OEM combination form:
Hose + outer cover / hoses are often made of PE plastic. According to the thickness of the product, it is divided into single-layer tubes (mostly used, with lower cost) and double-layer tubes (good sealing performance). According to the product shape, it is divided into round hose (mostly used, with lower cost) and flat hose, also known as special-shaped tube (needs secondary joints, with higher cost). The outer covers commonly used for hoses include screw caps (single-layer and double-layer, double-layer outer covers are mostly electroplated covers to increase the product grade, which looks more beautiful, and professional lines mostly use screw caps) and flip caps.
B. Manufacturing process:
Tube body: Directly produce plastic products to add color, colored ones are used for many purposes, and transparent ones are also made, which are less used.
Printing: Silk screen printing (using special colors, small and few color blocks, the same as plastic bottle printing, requires color overprinting, commonly used in professional line products) and offset printing (similar to paper printing, large and colorful color blocks, commonly used in daily chemical line products.), as well as hot stamping and hot silver.
